“An Evening in the Gardens” Great Success

The UGA Trial Gardens hosted their annual “Evening in the Gardens” on Thursday, September 29, 2011. It was a tremendous success with over 230 people in the garden! Real gardeners walked through our garden and flagged their favorite plants that looked the best this late in the season. Enjoy the slideshow!

I purchased this plant last spring at the April plant sale. Is there a way to “over winter” this vine to replant it next spring? It’s my understanding it won’t make it through the winter here in Snellville.
    Thank you for any info.

I failed to write the name of the plant, (discus discolor?) on my other comment. I thought it was in the begonia family. I purchased it last spring at the plant sale. I would appreciate anyone who can give any information on how to “over winter” it in order to replant it outside again next spring.
    Thank you,
    Margaret Van Buren
